So i decided to leave the Archipelago(Philippines) to pursue my passion in life, travel photography. Little did i know it is also a door to new opportunities of developing not just my career but also my character.
I am currently here in the Northern Thailand teaching English as foreign language, but still workingas a  freelance photographer and Graphic Artist. Enjoying the beauty of slow paced life and learning new things, culture and way of living.

Sea of clouds in Phayao Province Northern Thailand

So it's an unexpected, unplanned travel last week with my friend. We said we wanted to go to this mountain but never really had a real plan how and when to go. Last week was the new king of Thailand's birthday so, it's a nationwide non working holiday. It's been raining here for months, the weather is not ideal for hiking mountains. Whenever I ask the teachers at the school where is the best place to hike, they said "Oh don't hike a mountain during rainy season, man antalay mak(very dangerous)! But of course, I am stubborn, I didn't listen.

One of the teacher in the school with his husband went to Chiangrai, and I know they will passby PhuLangka, so we rode their car, droped off and stayed t Phu Langka. There are beautiful lime stone formation along the way already, and I was really thrilled and couldn't wait to reach the top.

MAGIC MOUNTAIN

I would say that this coffeeshop is the best spot to take pictures of the overlooking view of the limestone formations. They serve hot and cold coffee and tea, bread toasts and they even serve thai food as well. I would say that the coffee is not as as good as my favorite coffee from the mountains of Maneepruek in Nan (that's just my opinion), but it's okay.

HOW TO GO TO HUA LAMPHONG TRAIN STATION

BTS ASOK STATION

The best way to go to Hua Lamphong is by riding BTS. Then get off to ASOK STATION

MRT SUKHUMVIT

From Asok station, you can just walk and head to SUKHUMVIT MRT Station. It is an underground MRT.

HUA LAMPHONG STATION

Get off to HUA LAMPHONG STATION. Follow the path to the exit, then outside is a bus station and to your left is the old rail ways.

Note: Be careful, there's a lot of people in the platform and waiting area so take care of your own belongings, although there's a lot of security guards in the area, it's better safe than sorry. A guy actually approaches begging for money inside the waiting area and left when the security guards arrived.
